Incoterms offered
By sea: EXW, FOB, CFR and CIF. By air: EXW, CPT, CIP and DAP.
Every quotation states the Incoterm together with the named place — "CIF Jebel Ali", never simply "CIF". An Incoterm without a named place is not a complete commercial term.
On CIF and CIP terms, freight and insurance are shown as separate visible lines. This is so you can reconstruct the FOB-equivalent and compare our offer against others on a like-for-like basis.
Quotation validity
Export quotations carry an explicit validity date, typically 15 days, and become non-binding after it. This is not a negotiating tactic: commodity prices and ocean freight rates move weekly, and a quotation held open indefinitely would have to be padded to survive that movement.
If a quotation has expired, ask for a refresh. Where the market has not moved, the figures usually come back unchanged.
Prices and currency
Export prices are quoted in USD per metric tonne unless otherwise agreed, and are never published publicly. They are issued by quotation against a specific enquiry, because the correct price depends on grade, quantity, packaging, destination port and Incoterm.
Payment instruments
We accept telegraphic transfer and irrevocable letters of credit at sight. Terms for first orders are ordinarily an advance deposit with the balance against documents; established relationships are reviewed individually.
Bank charges outside Bangladesh are for the buyer’s account unless the quotation states otherwise.
Samples
Samples are supplied free of charge; the buyer pays the courier. You are welcome to nominate your own courier account, which most buyers find cheaper than our prepaid rate.
Samples are drawn from the same lots we ship commercially and are accompanied by the batch specification. A sample that does not represent the sale would be worthless to both of us.
Documents
The document set is determined by the Incoterm and the destination. It ordinarily comprises the commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading or airway bill, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate where required, and the certificate of analysis for the shipped batch.
Where your market requires an additional attestation or legalisation, tell us at enquiry stage rather than after booking, because some certificates cannot be issued retrospectively.
